The lake is situated in the village of Nedan which stands about 47 km away from Veliko Tarnovo and 64 km away from the city of Pleven. The lake is at the end of the village; the distance to the main asphalt road is 100 meters. The size of the lake is about 12000 sq. m. on a territory of 16000 sq. m. The whole property is fenced with concrete poles and barb-wire. It is supplied with electricity and there is an electric meter. Water is available about 300 meters away.
At the moment the lake is full of carp (perhaps 1000 carps). There are 10 tons of quality food for the fish. The lake is shallow - about 1, 8 meters deep. A small river flows into the lake and it is full of water all year-round. The owner has a permission for fish-breeding valid till 2018.
There is a caravan with two rooms on the property which is used as storage. Two men from the village take care of the lake. The new motorway which is planned to connect Varna with Sofia in the future will run about 5 km away from the village. The place is ideal for developing fishing tourism after you put some bungalows around the lake.
